Essential Digital Skills Courses
Our Essential Digital Skills qualifications are intended for anyone looking to develop the digital skills they need for life, work, or further study. The qualifications are intended to be a great introduction to using digital devices in everyday life, from turning on your device, through to searching the internet, online banking, communicating with others and producing documents for your personal life and work. Importantly, these qualifications also cover how to stay safe online and protect yourself whilst using digital devices.

- Each level lasts approximately 45 guided learning hours.
- We offer funded and co-funded courses (funding is subject to meeting the eligibility criteria)

Progression Routes
Learners who complete our Essential Digital Skills qualifications can progress onto Functional Skills courses, higher level IT courses or study a variety of other courses within CTP or with external providers. Contact CTP for information on progression routes.

Entry Criteria
- Age: 19 +
- No prior qualifications required
- Must not hold an equivalent qualification at the same or higher level
- Funded and co-funded quaifications are subject to meeting eligibility criteria
- Must not be enrolled on the same, or equivalent, programme elsewhere
