Project 1

ESOL Courses

ESOL qualifications are designed specifically for learners whose native language is not English and who live or plan to live in the UK. This includes asylum seekers, refugees, spouse visa holders and people with right to live in the UK. Our ESOL qualifications focus on preparing learners to fully participate in every part of life in the UK beyond their local community. The primary aim of these qualifications is to improve learners’ communication and fluency in English as well as their employability skills and opportunities to gain further education. We offer these qualifications from pre-entry level to Level 2. Our ESOL classes are group based classes and make use of online Zoom workshops as well as face to face classes. These qualifications include modules on reading, writing and speaking and listening. You will study these one module at a time. We use City and Guilds Awarding Organisation. The exams are paper-based for reading and writing and you will sit these in the centre. There is also a speaking and listening exam which you carry out with your tutor in the centre
